Here at your home for used and new Ford vehicles, we know that the Ford company is a quality company that produces incredible cars, trucks, and SUVs. But we also know that smart drivers want to research and learn before making a choice about a new vehicle. Luckily, we have companies like J.D. Power doing the work to figure out which are the best brands and vehicles. They recently released the results of their 2018 Initial Quality Study (IQS) and we’re thrilled to say that both the Ford company and several Ford vehicles earned high honors.

The J.D. Power IQS asks drivers to report any problems they’ve had with their cars in the first 90 days of ownership, then determines which brands and vehicles have the highest quality during that initial ownership period. This year, not only did the Ford Motor Company come in second out of all automakers in the study, but three Ford models were highest in their categories.

The 2018 Ford Expedition, 2018 Ford Mustang, and 2018 Ford F-Series Super Duty all beat out all the competition for best initial quality in their segments. Meanwhile, features like the SYNC® 3 technology and upgraded navigation systems that feature in most models help propel the Ford company to its highest ever score in the IQS. Other improvements in everything from seating to driver experience to air conditioning helped the company soar in the study and maintain its spot at Number 2.

Every driver wants a car that’s going to keep them happy even after they drive off the lot, and according to the J.D. Power IQS, they can find that vehicle right here at Dean Arbour Ford of Alpena.
